Proceeds from Pink Ribbon Welcome Mats Support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® Year-round

Thursday, October 11, 2012 (Madison, WI) — Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home has recently released twelve all new welcome mat designs for their 2012 pink ribbon welcome mats collection to support breast cancer research. The Carpet One Welcomes Your Support campaign was established in 2004 and has been raising funds through the sales of pink ribbon welcome mats to support organizations searching for a cure. This year’s collection features twelve new designs that make any doorstep a display of support for breast cancer awareness and research in any season.
Each welcome mat sale helps The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) as they support research all over the world in the search for a cure for breast cancer. Twenty-five percent of the sale price of these mats will be donated to BCRF. Along with other Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout the United States and Canada, Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home has raised more than $850,000 for breast cancer charities through the Carpet One Floor & Home Welcomes Your Support campaign.

”Breast cancer has effected all our lives in some way or another,” said Michelle Niemeyer, of Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home. “It is important to us that we do our part in finding a cure.”

The indoor/outdoor welcome mats include a pink ribbon to serve as a reminder of the cause they support but the designs are focused on the joyful side of life – from designs representing each of the seasons to a fun holiday pattern, nature and even a nautical inspired welcome mat. Carpet One Floor & Home’s welcome mats add a color style to your doorway, but they are also very practical. Having a mat at every doorway can keep your house cleaner and actually protect your floors by trapping dirt from your shoes before it makes it in your house and onto your floors. All of Carpet One Floor & Home’s welcome mats are stain-and-water resistant, machine-washable and made in the USA.

“Without partners like Carpet One Floor & Home we would not be able to support the hundreds of researchers every year that put their heart and soul into finding a cure,” said Myra J. Biblowit, President, BCRF. “We put over 90 cents of every dollar donated into critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide.”

The entire collection of pink ribbon welcome mats is available year round at Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home for $24.99. These inspiring pink ribbon welcome mats make great gifts and add a special touch to your doorway for special occasions or every day. They also make great additions to kitchens and bathrooms too! Visit Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home to purchase a pink ribbon welcome mat and contribute to an important cause.

About The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. In October 2011, BCRF awarded $36.5 million to 186 scientists across the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and China. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. With exceptionally low administrative costs, BCRF continues to be one of the most efficient organizations in the country and is designated an “A+” charity by The American Institute of Philanthropy, the only cancer organization to achieve this.
