Kristen Lonergan of Bremer & Trollop Law Offices Named as Honoree
WAUSAU, WI — The Wisconsin Law Journal has named its 2012 Up and Coming Lawyers. The honorees chosen for this award are on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession. They represent determination in legal work, in community betterment, and in improving their own law firms.
The honorees were recognized at an evening awards ceremony on September 19, 2012 at The Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
Chosen as a 2012 Up and Coming Lawyer was Kristen Lonergan of the Law Offices of Bremer & Trollop. Lonergan received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she competed on the school’s elite Mock Trial team and was the president and founder of the school’s Wisconsin Association for Justice student chapter. Upon graduating, Lonergan received the Susan R. Steingass Award for Outstanding Law Student in Trial Advocacy and the Bruce F. Beilfuss Memorial Award for Outstanding Service to the Law School. Lonergan was most recently in practice at a plaintiff’s civil litigation law firm in Madison, where she also worked as a coach for the University of Wisconsin Law School Mock Trial Team.
Lonergan joined Bremer & Trollop in 2011, where she is dedicated to protecting the rights of those who have been harmed by the negligence of others. Lonergan has been published in
The Verdict Magazine and has been a featured presenter at the Wisconsin Association for Justice seminars. Lonergan serves on the Board of Directors of Kids Voting USA-Wisconsin/Marathon County, serves as Chair for the Wisconsin Association for Justice Women’s Caucus Mentoring Committee, and serves on the State Bar of Wisconsin committee that writes the cases for Wisconsin’s high school mock trial program.
