By Kari Shear-Carlson
> July 10, 2012 – When fans attend an ASA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings event they not only get to see great racing, get autographs from and meet the greatest drivers in the Midwest, they also get to share in the amazing sponsors that make the ASAMT possible.

One of those sponsors is SCAG Power Equipment. SCAG is known and respected throughout the commercial power equipment industry for their innovation and attention to quality. SCAG has become the largest independent manufacturer of commercial grade mowing equipment in the country. Anyone who attends an ASAMT event now has the chance to become the proud owner of power equipment from SCAG.

Fans have the chance to win a SCAG Freedom Z zero-turning riding mower by purchasing a ticket or tickets at any ASAMT event in 2012. At each race a qualifying winner is selected. Winners will be combined at the end of the season and one lucky fan will be the Grand Prize Winner at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway during Championship Weekend.

John Wood was the first winner to qualify for the Freedom Z earlier this year at Madison International Speedway. “If people don’t jump on this opportunity they are crazy. But then again, that’s ok, I wanna win that mower and my chances get better if people stay away from that Freedom Z,” said Wood. “I have a one in 13 chance to win a $6300 mower for $5 (the cost of a ticket) and it’s awesome to see the ASAMT always giving their fans something extra,” he added.

The Freedom Z is a heavy-duty commercial-grade mower that features a virtually maintenance-free design, a 48″ or 52″ cutter deck, along with unmatched performance and reliability. This mower, valued at up to $6,300, is built by SCAG, the leader in the commercial-grade lawn mower industry.

SCAG products are made in the USA by its parent company, Metalcraft of Mayville, a family-owned business with facilities located in Mayville and West Bend, Wisconsin.

Do not miss your next chance to be come a qualifier for the Freedom Z grand prize on Friday, July 20th at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, IL for the Wayne Carter Classic ECHO Bear Cat 100. Event details can be found at asamidwesttour.com
