MADISON, Wis. – On Saturday, August 18, poker players will go “all in” with 12-time World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth Jr. as he hosts the Hold’em with Hellmuth Celebrity Poker Event for Agrace HospiceCare. The full-day poker event begins at 1:00 p.m. with the poker tournament running until midnight at the Exhibition Hall of the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way in Madison.

All proceeds from the event benefit the patients and families served by Agrace HospiceCare, Wisconsin’s largest nonprofit community hospice providing support for more than 600 patients and families in south central Wisconsin each day.

WHEN: Saturday, August 18, 2:00 p.m. – Midnight. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. Tournament begins at 2:00 p.m.

Once the tournament begins at 2:00 p.m., Phil “The Poker Brat” Hellmuth will bring high energy as emcee for a fun, Vegas-inspired atmosphere while hundreds gather to play Texas Hold’em for a local cause. There will also be an opportunity to interview Phil Hellmuth, the 12-time World Series of Poker Champion who is coming off a phenomenal summer that included winning his 12th World Series of Poker bracelet in June.
