BELOIT, Wis. – Building products distributor ABC Supply Co. Inc. has named Scott Murray real estate facility manager. ABC Supply, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2012, is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products.
In his new role, Murray is responsible for maintaining consistent branding standards at all ABC Supply locations nationwide; developing standardized branch maintenance and housekeeping procedures, and negotiating national contracts for facility management services for the company’s 450-plus locations.
Murray joined ABC Supply in 1987 and since that time he has held a succession of positions with diverse responsibilities. He worked for ABC Supply’s American Construction Metals, most recently as director of strategy and business development, and previously, as director of manufacturing. Prior to joining ABC Supply he served in the United States Navy and earned a bachelor ‘s degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
A resident of Janesville, Wis. Murray works from the company’s National Support Center headquarters in Beloit.
