Company is top finisher in Business Electric survey
EAU CLAIRE, Wis.– J.D. Power and Associates today announced that Xcel Energy’s Upper Midwest operating companies, Northern States Power-Wisconsin and Northern States Power-Minnesota, have been named the top finisher in the 2011 JD Power Business Electric Study, among large utilities in the Midwest region. The study was conducted April-June 2010 and September-December 2010.
• The results were derived by surveying nearly 18,000 electric business customers in four geographic regions. Xcel Energy-Midwest was part of the Midwest Large region and finished with a top score of 661, followed by Alliant with 658 and WE Energy with 655.
• Xcel Energy-Midwest earned top marks for power reliability, customer service and its billing & payment department, among others.
• Regional businesses also responded to questions about customer communications, corporate citizenship and overall price.
