WVMA: 96th Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association Convention October 20-23

Mark your calendars for the 2011 WVMA Annual Convention – Remembering the Past, Envisioning the Future, October 20-23.

The convention will be held at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison, Wis. As in the past, the convention will be held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician Association and Wisconsin Practice Managers Association conventions. There will be an immense line up of nationally acclaimed speakers and trade show vendors!

Large animal tracks will include equine for the mixed animal practitioner, small ruminant and bovine. Ophthalmology, senior care, cardiology, behavioral medicine, feline, orthopedics and a feline dental lab will be featured in small animal medicine.

The WVMA is pleased to announce the keynote speaker – Dennis Snow! Based on the leadership principles Dennis learned, lived, and taught during his 20-years with Walt Disney World, this presentation highlights specific leadership behaviors that bring a service strategy to life and describes how to “hardwire” service excellence into an organization’s culture.
