Brookfield, Wisconsin, May 20, 2011 – James P. Miller, CPA, controller, Ladish Company Inc., in Cudahy, Wis., is the recipient of the WICPA Business & Industry Hall of Fame Award.

The Business & Industry Hall of Fame Award recognizes a member who models the objectivity and ethical commitments of a CPA while creating value by managing technology and resources. It reflects the recipient’s vision using knowledge of broad business issues, champions new methods and solutions and inspires and motivates others to excellence.

Miller lends his innovation and leadership expertise to the WICPA through his contribution to enhancing member benefits to members in business and industry. Miller supports the CPA profession through his service and commitment to various WICPA Boards, taskforces and community involvement.

“While I have given time, talent and treasure to this organization, it pales in comparison to all the benefits I have received,” said Miller. “I am a better person today and I certainly owe this back to all the WICPA members I have been fortunate to have crossed paths with and learned from.”

The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified. Please identify all CPAs by including the credential with their names.
