November 2011, Cathy Huybers joins Wisconsin Family Business Forum (WFBF), at UW Oshkosh, as Executive Director. In her new role, Huybers’ primary duties will include establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners, increasing membership, sponsorship, building awareness and further developing the WFBF as a resource for the community.
Most recently, Huybers worked at the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board as a business service manager, meeting with new businesses and connecting them with available resources. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, Huybers received her bachelor’s degree in physical education, exercise science and her master’s degree in training and development from the University of Wisconsin Stout.
Wisconsin Family Business Forum is the oldest family business organization in Wisconsin. As part of the College of Business at UW Oshkosh they foster healthy family businesses by offering assistance with succession planning, leadership development, communication techniques and conflict resolution. WFBF creates effective solutions regarding the critical issues and problems confronting family businesses today and helps the individuals and their businesses succeed.
