MADISON, Wis. –Thomas J. Wilkinson, Chairman and CEO of Wisconsin Community Bank announces the election of Vernon J. Jesse to its Board of Directors. Vern will join existing directors, Lynn B. Fuller, Thomas J. Wilkinson, Kevin S. Tenpas, John K. Faust, J. Cory Recknor, Robert A. Reffue, Susan M. Schmitz, Steven F. Streff, Larry A. Swalheim and Marshall D. Zwygart. In making the announcement, Wilkinson stated, “Vern brings significant value to our Board in many areas.”
Vern is a shareholder of Murphy Desmond S.C., with expertise representing clients on a wide variety of real estate transactions and serves as Chairman of the firm’s board of directors. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with a B.S. in 1986 and University of Wisconsin, Madison, J.D. in 1989. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, REALTORS® Association of South Central Wisconsin and Madison Area Builders Association.
Vern serves on the American Red Cross Badger Chapter Board of Directors and on the Diocesan Finance Council for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison. When he’s not serving his clients or the community, Vern enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, as well as many outdoor activities.
