Madison-based QTI Group to conduct search

(Madison) The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) has engaged Madison-based QTI Group to conduct the search for the 119-year old trade group’s next president and chief executive officer.

WBA Chairman Robert J. Just, Jr. of Mound City Bank, Platteville said QTI was selected because of its experience conducting executive searches for both trade associations and financial institutions. Just said that that WBA hopes to name a new chief executive by June 1.

WBA is the state’s largest financial industry advocacy organization representing nearly 300 banks of all sizes and their 30,000 employees. In addition to government relations, WBA and its two wholly-owned subsidiaries – Financial Institutions Product Corporation and Employee Benefits Corporation — offer legal and compliance support, banker education programs, health and other insurance products, hardcopy and software forms to its membership. WBA is one of the largest and most influential business trade associations in Wisconsin.
