Milwaukee, Wisconsin (November 28, 2011) — Wipfli announced today that it is expanding its State and Local Tax Group with the addition of Sean Smith as a senior consultant. In his position, Smith will be responsible for providing analysis and consulting on a variety of state and local tax issues. He will specialize in sales and use taxes.
Smith joins the firm after 14 ½ years with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. While at the Revenue Department, Smith served as a field auditor and district field audit supervisor and managed hundreds of audits.
