Wellness Council of Wisconsin: Announces new board of directors

(Milwaukee, WI)— The Wellness Council of Wisconsin is pleased to announce the selection of several new board members. These new members were elected at the annual meeting of the Wellness Council, held on September 14th, 2011, in conjunction with the 21st Annual Worksite Wellness Conference at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Newly approved board members are as follows:

1. Christine Adee, Chief Financial Officer, Wild Impact Marketing
2. Jason Morgan, GE Healthcare
3. Mary Starr, Executive Vice President, The Starr Group
4. Charles Stevens, Partner, Michael, Best and Friedrich LLP

In addition to selecting new board members, the Wellness Council approved a new slate of officers as follows:

1. President: Lisa Mrozinski, Total Rewards Manager, Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc.
2. Vice President: Monica Hinek, CEBS, Senior Benefits Analyst, Everett Smith Group, Ltd.
3. Treasurer: Christine Adee, CFO, Wild Impact Marketing
4. Secretary: Kim Megal, Director of Human Resources, Tekra Corporation

This distinguished line up joins the Wellness Council’s current board members: Michael Brady, City of Milwaukee; Ellen Endrizzi, Zilber Ltd.; Barbara Feiertag, M&I Corporation, part of BMO Financial Group; Sarah Havens, Gundersen Lutheran Health System; Kathy Krohn, MRA; Michael Loy, City of Wausau; Abigail Nadler, M3 Insurance Solutions for Business; and Heather Ohlinger, Creation Technologies; and Advisory Board members: Barbra Fagan, Froedtert Health; Gavin Quinnies, US HealthCenter, Inc.; Donna Owens, Trotter Wellness; Kevin Setnes, Standard Process; and Jo Steinberg, Midland Health Testing Services, Inc.

The Wellness Council was founded in 1985 by the Wisconsin business community. Membership has grown from 9 founding companies to over 425 organizations representing 420,000 employees. In addition, Wisconsin now has 65 Well Workplace Award winners and four active Well City projects.

The Wellness Council is also the local affiliate of the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA). With more than 4000 member organizations located throughout North America, WELCOA is highly recognized and regarded for their innovative and results-oriented approach to worksite wellness.
