Eido Walny, JD, AEP, EPLS, has formed the Walny Legal Group (http://walnylegal.com), a boutique law firm specializing in Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Business Succession and Business Law.
Walny, who is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois and New York, serves a national clientele. An award winning attorney, Walny also holds the designations of Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS), the highest designation for an estate planning attorney currently recognized by the American Bar Association. Prior to opening his firm, Walny’s legal career included a partnership position at a large Milwaukee-based law firm where he was the head of the estate planning department.
Walny Legal Group LLC provides counseling to protect multi-generational family wealth, including drafting wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts designed to mitigate the effect of taxes, leverage wealth, and minimize the risk of creditors’ claims. Firm experience also includes structuring family and business succession plans, non-probate transfers, trust and probate administration, and preparation of guardianships.
Walny is a Trustee for the Village of Bayside, WI. He also serves on the Associate Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, and is a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Froedtert Hospital. He has been honored as a charter member by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation Mueller Society in recognition of the advancement of philanthropy. Walny is also a member of the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Walny received his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law, and an A.B. in Political Science, with honors, from the University of Chicago.
