Walgreens: New Walgreens in Franklin to open for business this week

New and improved location reopens 8:00 A.M October 27th

Franklin, WI – October 24, 2011 – Walgreens Franklin location will be re-opening its doors for business on Thursday, October 27th at 8:00 a.m., at 7130 S. 76th Street, in the parking lot of old location, right next to Chase Bank. In addition to a new pharmacy drive through, the 14,490 square foot store now features enhanced exterior finishing’s, a new photo processing area, more prescription services and a much larger merchandise selection.

An official ribbon cutting event will be held on November 15th at 9:00 a.m. with a special VIP opening ceremony following on November 17th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The VIP ceremony is open to the public and will feature store specials, hors d’oeuvres, music, giveaways, and store tours.

“We are thrilled to be re-opening our store in Franklin and look forward to better serving our customers with new and improved offerings like our drive through pharmacy window,” says Megan Thornton, the store’s manager.

The store hours are as follows Monday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Walgreens has 222 stores in Wisconsin.
