Small Business and Health Care Reform

Small Business Majority and Know Your Care Wisconsin are co-sponsoring a free webinar on Tuesday, November 15, from 12 to 1 p.m. CST to explain what the Affordable Care Act means to small and medium-size businesses.

The webinar will discuss federal and state provisions of the law to help Wisconsin business owners better understand how the law will actually affect them. Scheduled presenters include representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Internal Revenue Service.

Entrepreneur’s Connection Event

The 2011 Oshkosh-Fond du Lac Entrepreneur’s Connection will be held on Tuesday, November 15, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the UW-Fond du Lac campus.

In addition to workshops on financing, marketing, relationship building and the challenges facing young entrepreneurs, this year’s Entrepreneur’s Connection will also feature a panel discussion by five successful entrepreneurs from the Fond du Lac and Oshkosh areas. The event is sponsored by the Oshkosh Regional Innovation Growth Network (ORIGIN) and the Fond du Lac County Entrepreneurial Partners.
