MADISON- The 11th annual All-Campus Party (ACP) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB), kicks off today (April 14), with a Senior Party.

The Senior Party, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Wisconsin Alumni Association, 650 N. Lake St., is the first in the series of cost-free, alcohol-alternative events for UW-Madison students, faculty and staff.

The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board and other student organizations around campus coordinate All-Campus Party to celebrate the end of the school year, the onset of spring and the enthusiasm of the campus community. ACP acknowledges and embraces the diversity of campus by bringing both individuals and organizations together to celebrate a common bond and appreciation for UW-Madison.

ACP events are free for UW-Madison students to attend and include live music and prizes. Highlights include All-Campus Idol, Club Bucky and the new Bucky’s Urban Odyssey.

This year, ACP is partnering with Break the Silence Wisconsin, a statewide campaign to raise awareness about the impact of bullying and homophobia in schools. Starting at Library Mall, students and community members from across the state will march to the Capitol at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 15.

ACP’s new extreme competition, Bucky’s Urban Odyssey, will take place from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. The endurance and strength test will begin at 650 N. Lake St. and challenges will take place all over Madison – from Camp Randall to the Kohl Center – as students compete to prove their inner Bucky.

A complete list of All-Campus Party events, times and locations is at http://allcampusparty.com.

This year’s All-Campus Party is supported by campus partners and sponsors, including the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board, Wisconsin Alumni Association, UW-Madison, Associated Students of Madison, UW Credit Union, Pepsi, Fresh Madison Market, Campus Connect, Pizza Hut, the Daily Cardinal, the Overture Center for the Arts and the University Book Store.

The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board is a nonprofit student organization sponsored by the Wisconsin Alumni Association. WASB is focused on linking students past, present and future through a variety of activities that have one central focus: celebrating UW-Madison and its alumni.
