Urban Underground: Soars high in new community partnership with Southwest Airlines

The LUV airline donates 30 round-trip airline tickets for youth travel throughout the year

Milwaukee-(April 22, 2011)-Urban Underground (UU), a youth-serving, 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization has forged a new community partnership with Dallas-based commercial airline Southwest. SouthwestLUV will provide transportation for UU’s youth to travel to events that advance the mission of the organization.

“It is critical for agencies to provide young people with opportunities to visit other communities and experience a world outside of their neighborhood,” said Sharlen Moore, executive director of Urban Underground. “This new partnership with Southwest Airlines will allow youth with limited resources to travel to various cities for educational events and conferences to increase their exposure to college and careers. We are grateful that Southwest has partnered with our organization.”
