MADISON, Wis., March 9, 2011 – The Nolen Centennial Project Task Force will host a
meeting to engage the public and gather feedback about potential improvements to both sides of
the John Nolen Drive corridor, which together are called the Nolen Centennial Project. The
meeting will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alliant Energy
Center.

In late January, Madison grocers Tim and Kevin Metcalfe outlined their vision for the
corridor and announced the formation of a 17-member citizen task force, which is guiding the
development of a master and implementation plans for the project. The task force created a
public input subcommittee, which developed a public participation plan that includes a variety of
ways for the public to offer comments on the project.
