Milwaukee, WI, April 7, 2011 – The second annual SVA Golf Championship is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26th with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The 18-hole tournament will be held at Merrill Hills Country Club in Waukesha.
SVA has as strong tradition of giving back to our local communities. For over a decade, SVA has been a proud supporter of the annual girl’s high school golf tournament. This year, for the second time, high school boys will be able to participate in their own tournament.
The invitational gathers many of the top boys golf teams from the metro Milwaukee area as well as teams statewide to compete. The SVA Golf Championship is considered one of the premier golf events in the state of Wisconsin.
“We are proud to sponsor the boy’s tournament,” stated Greg Ksicinski, Principal SVA Certified Public Accountants, S.C. “The inaugural SVA Golf Championship was a tremendous success, we are honored to be involved as the title sponsor again in 2011.” As title sponsor, SVA is funding the green fees associated with the tournament for all participants.
“We want to make sure the athletes have every opportunity to compete,” added Ksicinski. “By eliminating the green fees, it’s much more cost effective for teams to be able to come and participate.”
“This tournament is an excellent opportunity for these young golfers,” said Brian Scrobel, Golf Coach & Tournament Organizer. “The level of competition and the opportunity to have the top teams in the state going head to head is exciting. Without, SVA’s support we wouldn’t have been able to fund the event and it would not have been possible.”
