MADISON, Wis. —Jim Dalton has joined Summit Credit Union as manager for its Portage branch located at 110 Henry Dr., in Portage, Wis.
Dalton brings more than 30 years of experience in banking and finance to his new role at Summit. Just 20 years old when he managed his first branch at ITT Thorp in Baraboo, Wis., Dalton’s career has also included stints at finance companies, the FDIC, as well as 11 years as senior lender at Bank of Wisconsin Dells. He also has extensive experience working as a campaign director/fundraiser for non-profit organizations such as hospitals, colleges and economic development groups.
Following four years in Michigan, Dalton has recently returned to his hometown of Portage, Wis. He is a graduate of Pardeeville High School.
