MADISON, Wis. — Near-record low interest rates and a favorable buyer’s market are making it a great time to buy or refinance a home. Yet many folks continue to be leery about making this kind of financial move in light of the changing economy.

To help people make a decision whether or not buying a home is right for them, as well as how refinancing may save them money in the long run, Summit Credit Union is holding two free seminars on:

* Tues., April 19, from 5:30 – 7 p.m., at the Summit Credit Union Old Sauk Branch, located at 645 Junction Rd., in Madison.

* Thurs., May 12, from 5:30 – 7 p.m., at the Summit Credit Union Sun Prairie Branch, located at 1333 W. Main St., in Sun Prairie.

Both seminars are open to the public. Please register by visiting http://summitcreditunion.com/summit.php?page=43 or by calling (608) 243-5000 or (800) 236-5560.
