St. Norbert College: Business professor receives career achievement award

DE PERE: St. Norbert College faculty member, Matthew Stollak, assistant professor of business administration, has received the 2010 Career Achievement Award from the Green Bay Area Chapter Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

The purpose of the award is to recognize and focus on a pattern of significant contributions by an individual to the success of the Green Bay SHRM Chapter and the Human Resources profession over several years.

Stollak, who has been a member of the St. Norbert College faculty since 2002, has taken his students to three National HR Games Championships, winning the National Championship in 2003. Stollak is an active member of SHRM on a local, state, and national basis, has served on the Green Bay Area SHRM Chapter Board for three years, and on the State Council for nine years. In addition to Stollak’s active membership in SHRM, he has served on the State Conference planning committee in numerous positions and for the National SHRM organization in various capacities.
