(Madison, WI) The Spirit of Greater Madison (SGM) is pleased to welcome the newest members of their Board of Trustees:
* Bob Caston, General Manager, Hilton Madison Monona Terrace
* Steve Kraus, Manager of Media Relations, Madison Gas & Electric
* Carl Nolen, President, Capital brewery
Spirit of Greater Madison, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded by the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2005, focuses on creating opportunities that improve our destination, drive visitor volume, and enhance visitor experiences.
“The individuals that have stepped up to help lead development of the GMCVB’s opportunity fund are successful business leaders and passionate about the value and importance of growing tourism for our economy and region’s future. We are fortunate to have their commitment and engagement,” says Deb Archer, President and CEO of the GMCVB.
Each new trustee will serve a two-year term with an option to renew. The SGM Board is responsible for governing SGM, the direction of its work and the control of its property. The Board reviews and directs all policies and assumes responsibility for directing its finances and affairs.
