Horning is the third generation of Hornings – along with his brother, John – to guide the company, which was established in 1946 as Wauwatosa Realty.
Horning earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Marquette University and has held several roles in the family business since joining it in 1991, including establishing and operating its Information Systems division.
His numerous business and civic activities include being the current Chairman of The Realty Alliance, Vice President of Metro MLS in Milwaukee and a steering committee member of the Wisconsin Internet Real Estate Exchange. Horning has also been a past Village Trustee in Pewaukee and member of the Community Development Block Grant Board for Waukesha County. He is also on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for Marquette University High School and is a member of YPO Wisconsin. In 2005, Horning was recognized in the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list of rising business executives.
