Shorewest has recently introduced many new services and initiatives to achieve success in building new business opportunities. For example, in response to the changing real estate environment, Shorewest adapted quickly by accommodating future buyers by expanding its rental home-finding services. To accomplish this, they partnered with two local home rental and property management companies, adding more options to its home search.
Shorewest also increased its rental agent base by 50% and trained them on sources and options for rental properties. With expanded home rental services, Shorewest cross-sold its International Services, adding two more clients for home settling services in 2010 (tours, drivers license, social security, furniture rental, etc.). Shorewest trained two additional DSPs (Destination Service Providers), one of which speaks Spanish, accommodating the diverse landscape of the marketplace.
Shorewest continued to promote and work with its household goods provider, Relocation Management Resources (RMR – a LRE partner), to secure quotes and moves for House Hold Goods (HHG). This year Shorewest booked its first moves for both its corporate clients and online Cash on Delivery (COD) customers.
In 2010, Shorewest introduced REO services to its relocation department, which are handled by the Inventory Specialists and Billing Coordinator with much success. Also last year it added a Customer Care Coordinator to manage the volume of online leads. To date, Shorewest’s closing ratio for web-leads remains one of the highest in the industry.
