Shorewest classes run on an on-going basis, which means you may start at anytime. From the date of enrollment, you have a year to complete the 72-hour course. So if you have other engagements you need to complete first, such as school or another job, there is the flexibility to do so.
The course consists of 24 classes that are each three hours in length. You may attend classes at our training center at 11622 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa in the morning, evening or both. Our morning classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to Noon and take 8 weeks to complete. Our evening classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15pm to 9:15pm and take 12 weeks to complete.
We also have home study programs, available on both audio CDs and the Internet. These classes allow you to complete the course at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home.
Once you complete the course and state exam, you may apply for a Real Estate Salesperson License. The state of Wisconsin requires all applicants to be at least 18 years of age for a license. The Salesperson License provides the ability to work for any brokerage firm in the state. If interested in working with Shorewest, REALTORS®, you are welcome to interview with any Shorewest sales directors. This can be done either before or after enrollment for classes.
