Baird & Co. employee Sandy Gehler recently earned the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) credential from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Gehler completed a rigorous education and examination program, covering a broad range of financial planning issues.
Gehler joins an elite group of financial professionals across the United States that sell, market, support or provide advice to clients regarding qualified retirement plans. Those who earn this credential must have knowledge of investments, securities rules, and selling techniques prior to their application for the program. Developed by ASPPA and the University of Michigan, the goal of the QPFC is to offer a comprehensive education program and a serious credential that will benefit the plan sponsor community.
Gehler has 20 years experience in the retirement industry and currently works as a consultant at Robert W. Baird & Co—an employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, asset management and private equity firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is part of the Baird Qualified Plan Consulting Group and awarded the title of Senior Qualified Plan Consultant, ranking in the top 1% of advisors at Baird working with qualified plans. Gehler focuses on providing superior service in education and investment consulting for qualified plans as well as wealth management for individuals and families. She also holds the Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) credential, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM or CFP® certification.
