KENOSHA, Wis. – Riley Construction was selected by Carthage College to provide construction services for its new five-story, 28,800-square-foot Oaks F student dormitory.

The Oaks F is the sixth and last new student dormitory being constructed by Carthage as part of their master plan. It is designed to house 78 residents, including 60 private rooms. Each floor includes a large lounge with a kitchenette, study table, couches and a plasma television.

This project is virtually identical to two other dormitories Riley Construction built on the campus, Oaks B and C, in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

The $5.7 million project was designed by Lohan Anderson Architects and is anticipated to be complete by June 2012.

In addition, the Kenosha Area Business Alliance selected Riley Construction to provide construction management services for the rehabilitation of a mixed use building located at 5500 6th Avenue in downtown Kenosha.

The project includes 13,400 square feet of adaptive reuse of an existing two-story masonry building with wood framing into three tenant suites with office space, retail space, and future unfinished spaces.

Designed by Partners In Design of Kenosha, this fast-track $1.5 million project will be complete by this July.
