MILWAUKEE, Wis. (February 11, 2011) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Christopher L. Nickels has joined the Firm’s Milwaukee office as an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group.
Mr. Nickels’ practice focuses on representing employers and employees on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including claims of race, age, gender and religious discrimination as well as claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and wage payment collection laws. He also has experience in drafting opinion letters regarding implementation of ERISA employee benefits plans.
Mr. Nickels earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree, with honors, in Communication, from the University of Wisconsin.
