MILWAUKEE, Wis. (February 21, 2011) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Raye L. Daugherty has joined the Firm’s Milwaukee office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Group. Joining Ms. Daugherty in the Intellectual Property Group in the Phoenix office is patent engineer, Victoria Georgakas, and in the Milwaukee office, patent paralegal, Ellen Webb.
Ms. Daugherty has significant experience counseling clients in all aspects of patent law. She focuses her practice in strategic patent portfolio creation and management, prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, patent validity and infringement analysis and opinion preparation, patent due diligence for corporate transactions, and patent licenses and transactions. Ms. Daugherty possesses extensive technical experience in the fields of biomedical, mechanical and electrical engineering.
She earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her undergraduate degree,high honors, from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
