Scott Newcomer announces the formation of the premiere lobbying firm Newcomer’s Consulting Group. Newcomer’s Consulting Group, led by Newcomer and supported by an experienced staff, specializes in government relations and contract procurement, with services also available in association management.

Newcomer’s Consulting Group is a full-service lobbying and political consulting firm dedicated to providing clients with the best access, information and experience in the political arena. With offices directly across the street from the state Capitol in Madison, Wis., and with numerous contacts within the state Capitol building and agencies, Newcomer’s Consulting Group is a solid choice for organizations seeking strategic counsel or representation.

“This is an exciting time for me,” Newcomer said. “I intend to use the skills and knowledge I developed while serving as a legislator over the past five years to assist my clients in accomplishing their public policy goals, whether they want to pass good bills or stop bad ones.”

Newcomer was elected to the state Assembly in the 33rd District during a special election in January of 2006. He was re-elected to a second term in November 2006 and served as chairman of the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions for the 2007-08 session and ranking member for 2009-10, as well as serving on committees on Housing, Public Health, Education, Health and Health Care Reform, Labor and Industry, State Affairs, Labor, and Medicaid Reform.
