National Association of Financial and Insurance Advisors – Wisconsin: Juli McNeely recognized for service to NAIFA

May 31, 2011, WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – Juli Y. McNeely, LUTCF, CFP®, CLU, owner and vice president of McNeely Financial Services, Inc., Spencer, Wis., was recognized by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Wisconsin for her dedicated service to the association.

McNeely received the A. Jack Nussbaum Award for Distinguished Service at a banquet in her honor following the association’s annual meeting May 18. The award was presented by Patrick J. Mongin, CLU, LUTCF, secretary/treasurer and Nussbaum awards chair. NAIFA is the largest professional organization representing life insurance agents and financial advisors nationwide.

McNeely currently is serving her second term as trustee of the national association’s board of directors and regularly contributes to Advisor Today magazine. McNeely has served in numerous offices and is a past president of both NAIFA Wisconsin and NAIFA Central Wisconsin. She actively promotes NAIFA’s position on legislative issues at the state and federal level and she has served on the board of directors of the Foundation for Insurance and Financial Education. She has chaired the Committee on Associations and the Young Advisors Team. In 2003, McNeely graduated from the first Wisconsin Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) class.

In addition to her service to the association, McNeely is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, where she serves as a mentor and member of the professional development committee. She promotes financial education in her community by presenting classes at the local school and her church and by participating in Spencer High School’s annual Career Day.

In 1996, McNeely joined McNeely Financial Services, Inc., where she specializes in retirement planning, education funding, business continuity planning and estate planning. She has earned the Life Underwriters Training Council (LUTCF), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations. She also holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses through SII Investments, Inc.
