It’s the biggest event of the year at Madison International Speedway! The fifth annual Fall Classic is all set for Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th and will feature twelve different divisions, street drags, fireworks, and much more.
The action kicks off on Friday night with Late Models, Area Sportsman, International Four Cylinders, Legends, and Bandits. A complete fireworks program will entertain fans along with the return of one on one street drags on the “Ring of Fire.” Pit gates open at Noon with qualifying from 2:00 – 4:30, qualifying at 5:00 and racing at 7:00.
It gets even better on Saturday with Big 8 Late Models, Mid American Stock Cars, ASA Midwest Trucks, Area Sportsman, International / Short Trackers, Illini Midgets, Legends, and Central States Super Cups coming to MIS. The pit gates open at 10:00 AM with practice from Noon – 3:30, qualifying at 4:00 and racing at 6:00.
“We are featuring our weekly stars and bringing in several touring divisions,” said MIS General Manager Dave Grueneberg. “We know the fans are going to see a wide variety of cars and trucks in action on both tracks.”
For the drivers there will be no increase in pit passes ($25.00 members / $30.00 non members) for each night and there is no entry fee.
Grandstand admission is $15.00 each night or a two day pass for $25.00.
