WISCONSIN DELLS, WIS. (Jan. 31, 2011) – As game day approaches, Wisconsin-based Kalahari Resort invites fans to go big with their plans to cheer for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Feb. 6. Featuring more than 1,000 televisions throughout the resort, Kalahari offers fans unique options – from a wall of high- definition TVs in the bowling alley to viewing from a private hot tub – to make the country’s biggest annual sporting event exceptionally memorable.

Swim-Up Sky Box

Relax in a private hot tub in front of two 42-inch TVs in Wisconsin’s largest indoor waterpark. The recently unveiled “Private Whirlpool Cabana,” which can be rented by the day, features a 12-foot hot tub with padded seating, two 42-inch flat screen TVs, mini fridge and safe, eight chaise lounges, cocktail tables and a dining table. Guests can order up a platter of nachos, a juicy burger, pizza, cocktails and more from the resort’s newly redesigned menu. Capacity is 19 people and pricing starts at $199.

Smaller groups may consider a regular cabana featuring a flat screen TV, mini fridge and safe, two chaise lounges and a dining table. Capacity is six people and pricing starts at $99.

A Suite Big Game Getaway

Kalahari Resort offers the crown jewel of luxury guest room suites in a stand-alone building dubbed the Entertainment Suite . Rent one of 12 suites which feature seven TVs, including a 58-inch TV with a theater sound system. Additionally, the Entertainment Suite, offered in two or three-level options, offers five bedrooms including one bedroom with a king bed, four bedrooms with two queen beds and four bathrooms. Big game party guests will appreciate the fully equipped kitchen for cooking up a game day feast or ordering in from the resort’s massive menu selection. The recreation room, which also offers TV viewing options, touts a full bar with mini-fridge and microwave, pool table and game/card table. The Entertainment Suite sleeps up to 22 and pricing starts at $1,199.

Family Football Fans

Families who want to getaway for the game and a splash can celebrate with the “Super Family Bowl” package which includes an overnight stay in a Desert or Hut room for up to four guests or Royal African Queen Suite for up to six guests. Each registered guest will receive a waterpark pass and Indoor Theme Park pass. And, when it comes to watching the game, vacationers can choose from one of Kalahari’s many viewing areas, including Damon’s Grill where guests are surrounded by big screens, to receive one bucket of domestic beer (ID required), one dozen wings, a14-inch pizza and four fountain sodas as part of the package. Finally, a $50 Spa Kalahari credit, which includes wine and chocolate-covered strawberries, offers guests a great way to wind-down after the game. Pricing starts at $199.95 for the night of Feb. 6 only.
