MILWAUKEE – Kahler Slater, an award-winning architecture and experience design firm, has promoted Glenn Roby to team leader of its Business Environments team.

In his new role, Roby will be responsible for managing team operations and seeking new design opportunities in the corporate office, retail and mixed-use segments.

Roby joined Kahler Slater’s Milwaukee office in 2008 as associate principal and project leader. Since then, he has led teams that completed such projects as the Junior Achievement Wisconsin headquarters and the remodeling of MillerCoors’ Eastern Division headquarters, both in Milwaukee; the United Heartland headquarters in New Berlin, Wis.; and the first location of Yo Mama, a new frozen yogurt restaurant concept, in Wauwatosa, Wis.

Roby is currently working with such national clients as Eaton Corporation, Samsung, Bswift and Fortune Brands.

He recently co-presented a seminar titled “The Total Experience: Great Cultures Made Visible” at the Great Place to Work® Conference in Denver.

A member of the American Institute of Architects, Roby has Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Roby is a resident of Wauwatosa, Wis.
