MADISON, Wis. (Dec. 22, 2011) – JX Peterbilt – Madison concluded a three-week food drive with a donation of canned goods and other items that the truck dealership delivered to the DeForest Area Needs Network in DeForest, Wis. The donation was complemented by a $500 donation from the dealership’s parent company, JX Enterprises.
“Our Associates are generous and support many local charities year-round and we’re pleased this holiday season they continued to give,” said Herman Goth, Manager of JX Peterbilt – Madison. “Additionally, the generosity of JX Enterprises was very impressive, donating a total of $7,500 to food pantries that serve communities in each of the company’s 15 locations throughout the Great Lakes Region. In monetary contributions alone, the company and its dealerships have donated more than $12,000 to more than a dozen organizations and relief efforts this year.”
Founded in 1998, the DeForest Area Needs Network is dedicated to serving the safety, health and daily task needs of those within the DeForestAreaSchool District. Its programs include a holiday gift drive, community information and program referrals, and partial reimbursements for health and medical education programs.
