Hoffman LLC to construct new, two-story facility

(Appleton, WI) Affinity Medical Group has selected Hoffman LLC, a planning, design and construction firm in Appleton, and Flad Architects of Madison, as part of the team for the design and construction of its new, two-story Neenah clinic. The facility, located at
101 Main Street
, will replace the current clinic on
Lincoln Street
while offering new services as well.

Hoffman has partnered with Affinity on several projects throughout Northeast Wisconsin including locations in Brillion, Darboy, Little Chute and the Town of Menasha. “This project is very focused on the patient experience,” stated Terry Ellenbecker, senior project manager with Hoffman. “The goal is to ensure that every patient in the clinic receives the care they need in an efficient manner. The physical space and flow of the building is a large component of that.”

The 31,500 square foot clinic will be constructed on the former Glatfelter paper mill site and will emphasize the use of sustainable materials. “There will be a special focus on sustainable methods and materials such as improving water efficiency and energy use and using renewable or recycled materials and resources,” Ellenbecker stated. “Having constructed several LEED certified clinics for Affinity in the past, we are very excited to help them add to their growing portfolio of LEED buildings.” Affinity will be pursuing LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the Neenah clinic.

The project officially kicked-off with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, October 27, and is expected to be complete by the end of 2012.
