Free Courses Offered in Milwaukee
The Health Insurance Risk Sharing Plan (HIRSP) is pleased to announce its brand new agent certification course. To meet recent demand for more information regarding HIRSP and HIRSP Federal Plan eligibility and enrollment processes, HIRSP has developed a FREE two credit CE course for Wisconsin health insurance agents.
Agents that complete the two-hour course will be listed on the HIRSP Website as a HIRSP and HIRSP Federal Plan Certified Agent. Certified agents will also receive a $100 referral fee for approved HIRSP and HIRSP Federal applications, a $60 increase over the current $40 referral fee for non-certified agents.
“We’re excited to bring these courses to Wisconsin agents,” said Josh Weisbrod, Director of Operations for HIRSP Authority. “More certified agents means more people will hear about HIRSP and how HIRSP and HIRSP Federal may be able to help those who are currently uninsured.”
Several training sessions have been set up throughout the state. There are two sessions scheduled for the Milwaukee area on Wednesday, November 2nd, 10 am –noon or 2pm- 4pm at the Holiday Inn Pewaukee Milwaukee West (Lake Country Ballroom) located at N14 W24140 Tower Place in Pewaukee. There is also a session scheduled on November 3rd from 9 am – 11 am at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare All Saints at 1320 Wisconsin Avenue in Racine. Registration is strongly suggested, as training materials will be provided to each agent in attendance.
