Jay Fulkerson, formerly CEO of United Healthcare’s Central Region, and prior to that, CEO of Touchpoint Health Plan, will join Milwaukee-based Health Payment Systems April 4 as executive vice president. With nearly 20 years of healthcare and management experience, Fulkerson will help lead the healthcare technology company’s continued growth.
Founded in 2006, HPS provides innovative technology that simplifies the healthcare payment experience for patients, providers and employers. For the past three years, the total paid health insurance claims processed by HPS have more than doubled each year. HPS currently has more than 50,000 participants and processes claims for more than 6,500 healthcare providers in Wisconsin. In addition, the U.S. Patent Office recently recognized HPS’ proprietary technology and business processes by issuing four patents to the company.
