Habush, Habush & Rottier, S. C. ® Attorney, Edward J. Vopal, becomes WAJ President

Green Bay, Wis. – Edward J. Vopal, a shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C®’s Green Bay office, was elected

President of the Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) at the organization’s Annual Meeting on Dec. 3. WAJ is the largest voluntary statewide bar organization in Wisconsin.

As president, Vopal is the highest ranking elected officer and the primary spokesperson for WAJ. Vopal’s duties as president are focused on protecting the personal and civil rights of Wisconsin citizens and furthering the WAJ’s goal of preserving a fair and effective justice system. Mr. Vopal has been an active member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice for more than a decade. He most recently served as president-elect in 2011.

Edward J. Vopal received his undergraduate degree in English, cum laude, from Northern Michigan University in 1991.

He received his juris doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1994, graduating with Senior Honors.

He has also been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist with the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2003. He has taught Trial Advocacy at the University of Wisconsin’s Law School. He resides in De Pere, Wisconsin with his Wife, Cindy.

They have three children.
