MADISON, WI – Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for having the highest ranking in quality among all managed health care organizations in Wisconsin and the 7th ranking in the U.S. GHC-SCW is the only Dane County, WI health plan listed in the Top 40. This ranking is based on a voluntary review of how health plans ensure that its members are receiving high quality care and services.

2011 marks the sixth consecutive year that GHC-SCW was listed among the nation’s top 10 health plans, as well as the sixth consecutive year listed as Wisconsin’s top health plan. This 2011 national ranking reflects the strong commitment GHC-SCW has to continuous high quality health care.

“While the health care world continues to change almost daily, GHC-SCW and its 65,000+ members value the things that stay the same: quality and superb care and impeccable service,” said GHC-SCW Executive Director, Larry Zanoni, “Our team works hard to maintain the kind of consistency that NCQA recognized today.”
