WHEN: THIS Sunday, September 4, 2011 starts at dusk (7:45 PM)

& Fireworks at approximately 9:15PM

WHAT: 3rd Annual Boat Parade on Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisconsin

WHERE: Lake Mendota shoreline from Maple Bluff to UW Memorial Union

Prime Viewing Spots: Maple Bluff Beach, Burrows Park, Tenney Park, James Madison Park, Edgewater Hotel, UW Union Terrace


Watch the Betty Lou Cruise boat (decorated by Google) lead the parade filled with Delegates from our Sister City of Japan, Obihiro. They will be followed by assorted themed and decorated lit boats. New this year, our “TEACH ME HOW TO BUCKY” showboat! Immediately following, fireworks will light the sky from the Spectrum Pyrotechnics barge anchored between The Edgewater Pier and Picnic Point.

The 2009 Venetian Night was declared a “Huge Success” by Channel 3 during their live coverage of our event! 2010 was even better!
