MILWAUKEE — Grant Thornton LLP has appointed Jeff Robinson as office managing partner for the firm’s Wisconsin practice. Robinson will lead the strategic growth of the Wisconsin offices by providing outstanding client service while maximizing opportunities for Grant Thornton’s people. He will also continue to serve as a member of Grant Thornton’s Partnership Board.
“I am proud to have the opportunity to lead Grant Thornton’s practice in Wisconsin, and we look forward to what the coming year will bring. I believe we are poised to continue to grow and capitalize on the opportunities before us,” Robinson said.
Robinson has extensive experience in managing large accounts providing clients with resources, relationship management and technical support. At Grant Thornton, he manages flagship client engagements that require multiple office coordination – nationally and internationally. He has also served as lead or advisory partner on numerous clients involved in IPO’s, debt restructurings, capital and liquidity events and complex accounting issues.
Robinson has been with Grant Thornton since 2002 and was most recently an audit partner in the Firm’s Chicago office. He also served as an interim office managing partner for its Detroit office. Prior to that, Robinson was an audit partner with Arthur Andersen in Chicago.
Robinson replaces Melissa Koeppel, who will transition into a national role working directly with Grant Thornton’s chief operations officer, Lou Grabowsky, on strategic projects.
