Gov. Walker: To sign five bills into law on Monday

Madison–Governor Scott Walker will publically sign five pieces of legislation on Monday in the State Capitol. The following bills are scheduled for approval:

SSAB8—related to: the authority of a state agency to promulgate rules interpreting the provisions of a statute enforced or administered by the agency and to implement or enforce any standard, requirement, or threshold as a term or condition of a license issued by the state agency; gubernatorial approval of proposed administrative rules; economic impact analyses of proposed rules and emergency rules; and venue in a declaratory judgment action seeking judicial review of the validity of an administrative rule and in an action in which the sole defendant is the state.

SB6—relating to: multiple trip permits for overweight vehicles transporting granular roofing material.

AB23—relating to: disinfection of municipal water supplies.

SB12—relating to: allowing retailers the ability to offer discounts equal to the state and local sales taxes.

SB20—relating to: authorizing the City of Milwaukee to sell city-owned property used for school purposes.
