Gov. Walker: To join Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch’s small business roundtable

The Lieutenant Governor will lead a small business roundtable discussion in Oshkosh on Tuesday, May 24, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at La Sure’s Hall Banquets & Catering, 3125 S. Washburn St., Oshkosh.

“The focus of the Walker administration is to strengthen our customer base by removing bureaucratic hurdles and ensuring economic development is a top priority,” said Lt. Governor Kleefisch.

The roundtable discussion will center on ways in which small businesses can move our economy forward and create jobs for Wisconsin workers.

Following the business roundtable, a tour of Waldan Paper Services, 167 West 28th Ave., Oshkosh, WI, will take place from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Waldan Paper Services was originally incorporated in 1981 as an Illinois corporation, relocating to Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1985. Today, Waldan Paper Services currently operates in a 50,000 square foot facility with fully integrated roll printing, coating, embossing and rewinding/slitting processes. The primary products produced are: Decorative wall paneling overlay for retail paneling and manufactured housing; gift wrap; medical exam table roll covers; medical packaging materials; retail art and drawing rolls; simulated wood grains for furniture and cabinets; and numerous other printed and converted products and services.
