Gov. Walker: Statement on Senate passage of lawsuit reform

Madison–Governor Scott Walker today issued the following statement on the Senate’s passage of lawsuit reform legislation.

“Today, the State of Wisconsin sent a clear message to employers that we are open for business. As we put up ‘Open for Business’ signs around our state borders, the State Senate passed legislation to help create a job friendly legal environment. Senators Rich Zipperer, Terry Moulton, Rob Cowles, Alberta Darling, Dale Schultz, Luther Olsen, and Glenn Grothman were instrumental in developing the ideas behind this legislation that will improve our business environment.”
