MADISON—Today Governor Walker signed Senate Bill 144, which makes modifications to Pleasant Prairie’s tax incremental district. This bill was unanimously approved by the Senate, and received broad bipartisan support in the State Assembly.
“This law will give Pleasant Prairie and the greater Kenosha area flexibility to use their tax incremental district to continue to grow jobs,” said Governor Walker. “This bipartisan bill is an example of a pro-jobs initiative that Democrats and Republicans can join together on to continue to move Wisconsin’s economy forward.”
