Madison—Today Governor Walker signed Senate Bill (SB 242), which relates to changing the definition of and the applicability of one-family and two-family dwelling rules to a bed and breakfast. This bill makes it possible for bed and breakfasts to be expanded or developed without dealing with onerous, unnecessary state regulations.

“Allowing the further development of bed and breakfasts in Wisconsin will add to our already great tourism industry and help create jobs,” said Governor Walker. “This legislation will encourage the growth and development of new and existing small businesses, which will be good for communities all across Wisconsin. I would like to thank State Senator Joe Leibham and Representative Mike Endsley for authoring this legislation and working to get it delivered to my desk.”
