Twenty-five million dollar relocation brings 150 jobs to Wisconsin

Madison—Governor Scott Walker today attended a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the new 600,000 square foot warehouse for Uline Shipping Supply Specialists. The family company is moving its operation across the border from its Eagan, MN distribution center to a 63 acre lot on the south side of Hanley Road.

“It’s an exciting day when a company breaks ground on a project of this size in Wisconsin,” said Governor Walker. “I’m thrilled Uline decided to build its expanded distribution center here in our great state, where the company has such deep ties.”

The Hudson location is expected to to open in the Summer of 2013. It will serve customers in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Northern Wisconsin.

Uline is a family owned business that supplies packaging and shipping supplies to businesses. They stock more than 25,000 items in each of the nine branch locations across North America.

The company prides itself on customer service. All orders placed by 6:00 p.m. ship the same day by 7:00 p.m. Uline was founded in 1980.

Uline company headquarters are located in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
